HALLYS Corporation (hereinafter referred to as “HALLYS”) received a favorable ruling from Guangzhou Intellectual Property Court in a lawsuit against the Korea CNC manufacturer PDT CO.,LTD (hereinafter referred to as “PDT”) regarding the infringement of patent right on Jan 13, 2021.
In the written judgement, the court affirmed the infringement act of PDT, and made the following judgment.
・ PDT shall stop manufacturing and selling the infringing product;
・ PDT shall pay HALLYS economic losses in the amount of 3,000,000RMB.
In the judgement, HALLYS’s patent is highly evaluated as the patent has high value, could be widely used and has been used in the core part of the product.
HALLYS believes this judgement is reasonable and shows a determined attitude in protecting intellectual property.
